This is the full Monte! Very much a statement wine, it has intense ripe plum with chocolate notes on the palate underlined by intense tannins with and abundance of spice and liquorice.
Winemaking: After pressing the wine is left on contact for 10 days to maximize the colour and extraction of tannins. It was then aged in barriques for 10 months, a followng six in large wooden vats, and finally six months in bottle before release.

Food Match: A great match for lamb, grilled red meats, venison and an array of cheeses such as Pecorino.
