Dreadnought uses Syrah from the most steepest and breathtaking hillsides of the vineyard. This is an outstanding Waiheke Syrah showcasing riper fruits with overt blueberries and black pepper notes. Supple fruit is supported by vibrant acidity, fine grained tannins underpinning classical Rhone. This wine will age gracefully up until 2017. It has the structure to be matched with red meat dishes, preferably peppered steak fillet or slow cooked venison in paprika and red wine.
