Perfumed, assertive notes display black berries and black fruit jubes. It has a full bodied mid palate and a profile of dark black fruits with hints of liquorice, mocha violets and anise. This is densely packed with firm, supple tannins and subtle floral notes.
About: Spring Seed Wines are made from grapes lovingly grown in the family’s organic vineyard, located in the premium wine region of McLaren Vale, South Australia.
Winemaking: There were a mixture of fermentation vessels which create varying extraction levels. A mixture of old French and American barriques is used with only 10% new, the idea to let the vibrant fruit flavours speak for themselves.
Food Match: Have with pork belly, bacon burgers, red meat dishes, or rich, chocolate dessert.
