This eclectic Marlborough wine resonates smoothly like a "lyrical soul man of rock". A tender balad of light sweetness is underlined with ripe pear and stunning concentration. Expressive aromatic chracter with a mix of spice and citrus with ethereal texture adds to the appeal. ~Winery Note
Winemaking: From the Southern and Wairua Valleys, this hand picked fruit was pressed gently and fermented at very low temperatures. The wine was aged on fine yeast lees for four months with regular stirring adding weight and complexity to the palate. With 5% undergoing barrel fermentation, this wine was made to have texture and stand out in the crowd.
Food Match: Brie and pear on toasted bruschetta, or brioche with apricots and cream.
"A youthful charmer displaying gentle aromas of grapefruit, peach and floral with subtle flinty notes. The palate is juicy and lively with lovely fruit intensity and bright acidity providing a lingering crisp finish. A beautifully framed Pinot Gris that will blossom with time." ~Sam Kim
