 Wines of the Month

The Sisters Sauvignon Blanc 2009.

This fresh Awatere Sauvignon featured highly in the January 2010 edition of the Cuisine magazine picking up 5 stars and Best Buy. The judges raved that the acidity electrified the wine and "is balanced with layers of tropical fruit flavours in concert with nettle and herbal notes." All this, plus 5 stars and Best Buy and all for only $17.99 a bottle or $16.99 on case buys (remember case buys apply to mixed cases as well as straight case lots). 

 

Valentine's Day is fastapproaching and what better way to celebrate with your special someone than with a lovely glass of French Champagne. Joseph Perrier Cuvee Royal NV was voted one of the worlds top three non-vintage champagnes by Robert Parker. Queen Victoria and King Edward VII gave it their royal warrants so that it can wear the 'Cuvee Royal' marque. Fragrances from citrus fruit peel to reinette apples and peaches precede the gentle finale of vanilla and cinamon. This fabulous champagne was $74.99 a bottle but while stocks last it is $59.99 a bottle or $55 a bottle on six pack buys.
